Chicken and Kale Pizza
This chicken and kale pizza features Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto with White Cheddar Pasta Sauce which is layered with fontina cheese, chicken and fresh kale on top of a crispy crust. You can use any type of cooked chicken for this dish, such as diced grilled chicken, shredded roasted chicken or even rotisserie chicken!
1 pound pizza dough
3 cups shredded fontina cheese
1 ½ cups cooked chicken (grilled, shredded, rotisserie, etc.)
1 cup Sonoma Gourmet Kale Pesto with White Cheddar Pasta Sauce
1 cup torn kale leaves, stems removed
1. Preheat the oven to 450° F.
2. Form a large round with the pizza dough, and top with the sauce. Add the shredded cheese on top.
3. Sprinkle the chicken and kale on top of the pizza.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
