Chicken and Spinach Pizza

This chicken and spinach pizza is loaded with chicken, three types of cheese, spinach and tomatoes. The Sonoma Gourmet Pizza Sauce adds a fresh flavor that compliments the variety of toppings. Any type of pre-cooked chicken will work for this pizza; it’s a great way to use up leftover rotisserie chicken!

Serves: 6

  • 1 pound homemade or store bought pizza dough

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 ½ cups cooked shredded chicken (such as rotisserie chicken)

  • 10 ounces baby spinach

  • 1 cup Sonoma Gourmet Pizza Sauce

  • 1 cup shredded fontina cheese

  • ⅓ cup finely grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon Sonoma Gourmet Sautéed Garlic Olive Oil

  • ¾ cup seeded and diced tomato

  • salt and pepper to taste

1. Preheat the oven to 450° degrees.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the spinach and season with salt and pepper. Cook the spinach for 3-4 minutes or until just wilted.

3. Form a large round with the pizza dough, and top with the sauce. Add the shredded cheese on top.

4. Sprinkle the chicken and spinach on top of the pizza.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese is melted. Sprinkle the tomatoes over the top and serve immediately.
